The New York International Automobile Show became North America's first automotive exhibition in 1900. For over one hundred years it has continued to bring new and innovative ideas to stage. Every year BMW brings out their latest and greatest joy-producing machines. For this year's show the M4 Convertible joined the previously announced X4 Sports Activity Coupe to make their world debut. The 4 Series Gran Coupe, ALPINA B6 xDrive Gran Coupe, updated X3 and Concept X5 eDrive made their North American debuts. The M3 and M4 were displayed in Silverstone II and Black Sapphire Metallic instead of the originally debuted colors of Yas Marina Blue and Austin Yellow and I have to say they look equally as stunning. The 228i arrived with a Track Handling Package which includes M Adaptive Suspension, Michelin Pilot Super Sports, 18-inch light-alloy wheels, Variable Sport Steering and M Sport Brakes. Of course the best looking electric hybrid ever created, the i8 was there in Protonic Blue. The all new nineT Motorcycle was there showing the beautiful work and craftsmanship from the BMW Motorrad division as well.
The NYIAS is open to the public April 18-April 27, 2014 at the Jacob Javits Center in NYC.
