2013 BMW CCA Monterey Weekend

BMW CCA Monterey Weekend's Festorics was held August 16-18, sponsored by BMW NA, the BMW Performance Center, Liberty Mutual Insurance, Sonax, Spaten, and the BMW CCA. The event celebrates the mystique of BMW and appreciation for the marque.
The weekend started off Friday, August 16 with the fifth annual "Legends of the Autobahn" Concours d'Elegance and Show at Rancho Cañada Golf Club in Monetery, California. It played host to beautiful BMWs of all ages, as well as entrants from the Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, (and for the first time) Audi clubs who will share this event. Each club had their own respective parking corral and judging areas. The BMW CCA Festorics corral theme this year was the E28 M5. Celebrating the sedan that started it all for the extreme performance cars in family car camouflage.
Saturday and Sunday followed with Festorics at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Hospitality tents were set up overlooking Turn Five of the track. The Monterey Motorsports Reunion brings out the best of racing's past from rare pre-war racers to 70's and 80's cars.
Along with the CCA festivities, Brandon also attended a VIP event held by BMW. They had numerous high-end models out on display such as the M5's, M6's, Alpinas and i3's. The attending guests got a sneak peak at the new i8, unfortunately no cameras were allowed here so we'll all have to wait for the official unveiling on September 10th.
