Kian Kassraei's E92 M3

No matter the style of a car, a common aspect we can all appreciate is when the car is at a tastefully balanced of just enough and not overly done—Kian Kassraei’s 2008 Space Gray M3 is exactly that. Beautiful and well-thought-out modifications were made to it without bastardizing the original design that BMW had created. That’s one of the reasons this particular E92 deserved to be our latest feature.
Kian purchased the car with the plan to leave it completely stock, something that many car enthusiasts can relate to. We all know how that typically goes, you just want to add this and you’ll be happy with it… and it snowballs from there. Kian said he had a love for carbon fiber at the time so he decided to add a few carbon fiber parts and immediately the bug bit him. He continued modding the car since, to how you see it now.
The front end is enhanced with a Hamann CF front lip, matte black grills and smoked reflectors. One of the most drastic changes to the face though, is due to the OSS Designs black-out headlights. When BMW first introduced angel eyes on the E39, the ad said “Eyes are the window to the soul.“… and the sinister stare coming from Kian’s E92 gives you a pretty good idea of its character. Kian dropped the car on H&R Race springs and went with a set of 20×9″ (245/35) 20×11″ (285/30) Work VS-XX. He kept the smokey feel going with a Burning Black finish for the faces. The rear sports an Ericcson CF trunk, a VRS Type 2 rear diffuser and a Meisterchaft GTS exhaust.
Kian recently picked up an STI, which took over full responsibility of daily driver duty. Now the M is a dedicated weekend/project car. The future plans for it are a full Amuse kit all around with Vorsteiner hood. It’s also going lower and stiffer with KW Clubsport coilovers. And even more beastly noises will be heard with an ESS VT625 supercharger kit and Gintani catless X-pipe. I for one, can’t wait to see how these plans turn out.
