The first time that I met Mitch and his car was at MPACT 2018. It immediately caught my attention because of the color. Firstly I’ve never seen the color before, but besides that it was simply a gorgeous color. Mitch was actually near the car when my friend and I were looking it over. I started asking more about the car and learned that it was a 1 of 1 BMW Individual. Mitch was extremely nice and humble about owning it. He truly appreciates what he has and loves to share his special car with other enthusiasts.

At the time it was sitting on white Volk Racing TE37’s and although I’m not usually a fan of white wheels, the car pulled it off incredibly well.

The original owner(s) of the car worked at a BMW dealership. It was a joint venture between two guys who ordered the car. It was for sale at the dealership for about 3 years until it finally sold. There were 2 more owners before Mitch bought it. The M3 was always kept stock and well maintained. After Mitch purchased the car, he took it over to AUTOcouture Motoring for a PPI. Everything checked out with flying colors. The car had 70k miles at this point, so Mitch decided to do the rod bearings, throttle actuators, idle control valves and any other maintenance items that ACM recommended.

From there, Mitch enjoyed the car in the naturally aspirated form for the next 2 years. However, he wanted to take it to the next level. Mitch decided to go with an ESS 625 Supercharger Kit paired up with 42 lb. injectors and 7 lb. pulley, Macht Schnell Catless X-Pipe, and a Meisterschaft GT2 with optional CF Cooling Plate. On 93 octane the car dyno’d at 575whp/410wtq.

Over the past few years his car has been on a few different sets of wheels. One of my favorites was the BBS E88’s, but his latest set of BBS E05’s seem to suit the car’s overall character the best. They are 19 x 9.5” 265/30 Front, 19 x 11” 295/30 Rear on Toyo R888’s.

Mitch went with Öhlins BMS Mi40 Road & Track coilovers for the suspension. It’s also equipped with a Stoptech 380/355mm Big Brake Kit. I got the chance to drive the car and it’s as good as it looks.

The exterior is enhanced with a super rare Kohlenstoff Front CF spoiler in a satin finish. It’s 1 of 3 made worldwide, and the only one currently in the United States. The side continues the flow of lower aero with Forcewerkz CF sideskirts. The rear wraps it up with a 3D Design rear diffuser, OEM BMW Performance trunk spoiler, and a Mode Carbon GTS spoiler.

I’m not typically a big fan of red interiors, but I don’t think there’s a better color than Fox Red to compliment the Neptune Blue. Mitch also upgraded to an OEM BMW Performance steering wheel. He also installed a Studio RSR 5 point roll cage painted Neptune Blue to match the exterior.

Mitch has one of, if not my favorite E90 M3 out there. It’s super unique and so tastefully modified. I’m glad that he brings it out for others to enjoy and glad I got the opportunity to photograph it and share it here.
